VIRTUS: The VIRTUS workshop has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 1st from 9:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. This will be in English only. There are only 50 spaces available, so please sign up as soon as possible. You can go to www.VIRTUS.org and sign up or call Bertha Clarke at 713-454-6622.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY: Monday, October 13, 2008 there will be no school in observance of Columbus Day. We are not required to make up the 7 days we missed because of Hurricane Ike. However, we will make up the work missed during our regular school days. Our school calendar for the year will remain the same.

VOLLEYBALL GAMES: We have a home game today against Holy Name. Due to scheduling conflicts with our gym, we will begin playing as soon after 3:30 PM as possible. We are scheduled to play St. Francis of Assisi tomorrow, Thursday, October 9th at St. Francis. However, their gym is not available, so we will play the game here at St. Christopher. Again, due to scheduling conflicts – we must begin our first game as soon after 3:30 PM as possible. Our last game of the season will be play on Tuesday, October 14th here at St. Christopher against Resurrection and this game should be at the regular time – 4:30 PM.

TUITION: October tuition is due. All accounts must be current for you to conference with your child’s teacher. Please call or come by the school office if you have any questions concerning your school account.

PARENT/STUDENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES: Due to Hurricane Ike, P/S/T Conferences had to be rescheduled. They will be held on Thursday, October 23rd and Friday October 24th. New conference forms will be sent home on Tuesday, October 14th to schedule your conference time. Just a reminder, that they will be held from 3:45 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 23rd and on Friday, October 24th from 8:00 until 11:00 AM. There will be no school on Friday, October 24th – just conferences. Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade must attend the conference with their parent/guardian or they will be counted absent for Friday, October 24th.
