The children's catechetical program is designed to encourage students to learn and grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith. The C.C.E. curriculum is based upon the four sections of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. They are: Sacraments, Creed, Ten Commandments, and Prayer. These teachings are deeply rooted in scripture, customs and traditions, and heritage.

High School Faith Formation (ages 14-18) (click here to learn more)

The goal of High School Faith Formation is to empower the youth with the knowledge and confidence to defend and live their faith for the rest of their life. Our young people, once confirmed, will be able to conclude that they are gifted by God, realizing that Christianity means continued conversion throughout life. They will be willing to serve and participate in all of the sacraments with greater understanding. They will have a deeper relationship with God and a commitment to continue as Christian witnesses in the journey of faith.

R.C.I. A. (Right of Christian Initiation of Adults) (ages 18 and up)

R.C.I.A. is the sacramental formation process that prepares an individual for a Catholic life at the heart of which is a desire to live as Jesus Christ taught. This program is for baptized Catholics who are lacking one or more sacraments. For more details, please call the parish office at (713) 645-6614.

Sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation

This two year process is for children in grades 2 through 12. Parents are brought into the process during the second year of formation. Parent sessions are held in an attempt to offer parents a way of being actively involved as the primary educators of their children.

Baptism of Older Children Sacrament Program (RCIC)

Students in 2nd thru 12th grades needing Baptism or who have been baptized, but not in the Catholic Church will make a Profession of Faith. This is a two year process. If students need other Sacraments please contact the C.C.E. Office for more information (713) 645-6142.

Quince Anos Ceremony/Ceremony De Quinceanos

The young person who wishes to celebrate his or her Quince Anos should be a registered parishioner who has practiced his/her faith and has been attending religious education classes during the two years that precede the celebration. Information meetings are held in March and October every year. Call the C.C.E. Office for more information at (713) 645-6142

La joven interesada en celebrar su Quince Anos tiene ser miembro, registrada de esta parroquia.
